After meeting you at the agreed place, we will cross the Rif mountains. Pass through the city of Tetouen enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery until we reach Chefchaouen, one of the beautiful villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. First of all, the medina of Chefchaouen has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many trendy craft shops, rooftop restaurants and cafes where you can have lunch. We will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad before continuing to Fez.
After breakfast, we will pick you up to start our journey. Next, head south, passing through the “Switzerland of Morocco” Ifrane and Azrou, through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We then stopped on the road in a cedar forest to see Barbary apes in their natural habitat. Crossing the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, passing the magnificent Ziz canyon carved into the volcanic rock, you will have a view of the Middle Atlas plateau, which changes to reveal signs of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia. After lunch, we continue our journey through the Ziz Valley towards Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. After a cup of mint tea, we store our luggage in a safe before riding a camel to the Berber camp in the middle of the Elg Chebbi dunes. In fact, these are the tallest sand dunes in North Africa. First, the camel trek takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the camp, where we pitch a Berber tent and spend the night in the desert. Therefore, the tents are equipped with mattresses, blankets and pillows. After dinner, we will meet around the fire to the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.
We will wake up early to enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast. Then return to your hotel or riad by camel. We continue our journey through Rissani market, Arfoud to Tinghir and Todra gorges before reaching Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast we cross the Dades Valley to Karatemguna and special Ouarzazate. Since the route through the Dades Valley is the Route des Mille ChĆ¢teaux, it offers plenty of photo opportunities. Then we will visit Rose Valley and the village of Skoura. Then continue to Ouarzazate, the āHollywood of Africaā. Then, have lunch at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. So, after visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site, our journey continues via the majestic Tizi nTichka pass. When you reach a height of 2,260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains, stop to admire the impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. We will then arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon to conclude our services. This concludes our 4 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech Via Sahara Desert
